Day 1 : Books Review | Hannah's Suitcase - Η Βαλίτσα της Χάνα

Hey friends! Welcome back to my blog! Today's theme is about books and I will talk to you about my favourite ones.

Η ΒΑΛΙΤΣΑ ΤΗΣ ΧΑΝΑ - HANNAH'S SUITCASE

So, this is the title of my favourite book so far. I didn't read many books through the school year because I had lots of homework and many test or final exams. 

Anyways, this book is amazing. It is a real story and it combines two stories together. The first is about a girl who lived during the 2nd World War and the second is about a teacher and her students from Japan who try to find information about Hannah. 

When the War started Hannah was 11 years old. She was Jude, so she was taken by Nazi and she was forced to live away from her family.

The story starts when all of sudden, Germans start to make laws about Judes, which were veeery cruel. Hannah was very sad as she wasn't able to go outside, to read, to go to the park or anything like that. 

One day, there was a letter sent by Nazi to Hannah's house, saying that her mum had to leave the ouse and appear to a Nazi's office at 8:00 p.m the next morning. 

After a year, her Dad was also taken and it soon was their turn to leave their town and travel to a strange place. 

She lived 2 years in Tsexia and then unfortunately they sent her in Ausvits (sorry if I haven't writtenthat correctly lol). She died the day she went there.

This book describes the pasion of a teacher to find more and more information about the Holocaust so that her students can understand how people lived. When she manages to find Hannah's older brother who survived, she learns even more about Hannah - she only had some paintings and her suitcase until then - and her survey is even more fantastic. She finally has pictures of her and she learns a lot about her charactes and the things she liked.  

It is an amazing book and in my opinion books which talk about things that happend at the 2nd World War are very interesting. It reminded me a little The diary of Anna Frank.
